Here's how to play!
Press a song button and sing along to the tune.
Watch the lights above the xylophone keys light up one by one with the melody.
The follow the lights to play the song yourself.
Match the colorful music notes in the book to the xylophone keys to play on your own.
Each page features lyrics set to a familiar song and a simplified version of the melody's sheet music.
Each page is displayed horizontally so that children can see the open pages directly over the xylophone keys.
When the child presses an icon button, a melody will play. At the same time, a bright LED for each note lights up in sync with the melody, so children can follow along with the xylophone mallet.
In addition, children can use their imaginations and create songs on their own.

A: Fun and unique book!
I enjoyed this book for my toddler and think it will become even more useful when she is old enough to realize she can learn these songs with the automated help of this book. It has a few features to allow you to either free play or learn to play each song title. I had fun with it myself!! I think this is a great addition to any toddler who is into books and/or sesame street and/or music in general. It also helps to keep the parent busy for a little time in a book that is a little more fun then just the standard sing along books.
B: Grandchildren love it!
This is a toy equally loved by both boys and girls. My grandchildren (ages 2,3,4) all live out-of-state, so when I visit them I bring this toy along. Even though there are new words written out for each song that have a "Sesame Street" theme to them, I have used this toy to teach them "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," "Here We Go 'Round the Mulberry Bush," "ABC Song," and others that you'll immediately recognize as old favorites. Now when I visit, each grandchild asks "Did you bring Elmo?"
Nice birthday present
I gave this to a child of a family friend on her birthday and she loves it. It is well worth the price.
