A: Adorable! Princess fans will love it!
My girls were fighting over this the second I took it out of the box. Purple, pink, Disney Princesses and music. Can you blame them? This is a toy all little girlie girls will definitely appreciate. While it didn't turn out to be exactly what I expected, it has all ready brought my 4 and 6 year old princess fanatics several hours of enjoyment.
The "docking station" on the front resembles mom and dad's big people toy. It can be removed and enjoyed separate from the storybook. The iPod looking thingy detaches as well, and my 4 year old now calls it her phone. She spends most of her time talking to Flynn Ryder who demands she turn the music down. What a grump! Each little key has a disney character that corresponds with portions of the book. Music to set the tone and the mood of each scene if you will. The stories are what you'd expect from the famous princesses. While they bore me to tears, my girls enjoy hearing them over and over.
Yes, this is super cute. If I could change one thing I'd love music with words, but even without this is still loads of fun. Little ones love to have toys that resemble the "toys" mom and dad use on a regular basis. This gives them the chance to feel like they have their very own grown up electronics, but in a kid friendly package.
B: Young reader loves it
My 5 year old niece just loves this book/music player. She is just now beginning to read and this book really is helping her along. She loves Disney Princes (who of us doesn't), and the music player really brings them to life. This is also the perfect book for her to try to read with. The music is like a little reward for finishing the story. I only wish it was a bit longer. The book itself is pretty short, but overall, great fun.
